Article 1. Shipping Methods
Dyson offers the following delivery options:
- Standard Shipping: 3-7 business days
- Express Shipping: 2-3 business days
- Next Day Delivery: order before 3 PM for next business day
- Same Day Delivery: available in select cities
- In-Store Pickup: ready within 2 hours at Demo Stores
Article 2. Shipping Costs
Shipping fees based on product weight and destination. Free standard shipping on orders above $35. Express and expedited options incur additional charges. Shipping costs displayed at checkout before payment. Large machines may have higher rates.
Article 3. Processing Time
Orders processed within 24-48 hours of payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends ship next business day. High demand periods may extend processing time. Customer receives order confirmation and shipping notification via email. Holiday processing times posted on website.
Article 4. Tracking Information
All shipments include tracking number sent via email and SMS. Customers can track packages through MyDyson account or carrier website. Tracking updates occur every 24 hours. Delivery status notifications sent automatically. Contact support if tracking not received within 48 hours.
Article 5. Delivery Address
Customer must provide complete and accurate shipping address. Dyson not responsible for delays due to incorrect address. Address changes possible before order ships. PO boxes accepted for accessories only. Business addresses require company name for delivery.
Article 6. Signature Requirements
Orders over $500 require signature upon delivery. Recipient must be 18 years or older for vacuum cleaners and hair tools. Alternative recipient can sign with authorization. Signature waiver available at customer's risk. Contactless delivery options available.
Article 7. White Glove Delivery
Premium delivery service available for select products. Includes unpacking, assembly and demonstration. Old machine removal and recycling included. Technician schedules appointment within 5 business days. Available in major metropolitan areas only.
Article 8. Large Item Delivery
Vacuum cleaners and air purifiers delivered to doorstep. Delivery does not include in-home placement. Customer responsible for moving to desired location. Packaging can be given to driver for recycling. Assembly instructions included with product.
Article 9. International Shipping
International orders ship to select countries. Delivery times vary by destination from 7-21 business days. Customer responsible for customs fees and import duties. Tracking available for international shipments. Some products restricted from export.
Article 10. Shipping Restrictions
Certain products cannot ship to specific regions. Lithium batteries have transportation limitations. Some countries prohibit electronic device imports. Restrictions displayed during checkout. Contact support for country-specific information.
Article 11. Failed Delivery Attempts
Carrier makes up to 3 delivery attempts. Customer notified after each failed attempt. Package held at local facility for 7 days. Unclaimed packages returned to Dyson. Reshipping fees apply for redelivery after return.
Article 12. Weather-Related Delays
Extreme weather may delay shipments. Winter storms and summer heat affect delivery times. Dyson prioritizes product safety during transport. Customers notified of significant weather delays. Delivery rescheduled at no additional cost.
Article 13. Lost or Damaged Packages
Lost packages investigated after 10 days from ship date. Damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Photos required for damage claims including box and product. Dyson files claims with carrier on customer's behalf. Replacement or refund issued after claim approval.
Article 14. Holiday Shipping
Extended processing times during Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Christmas. Holiday cutoff dates posted prominently on website. Order early for guaranteed delivery before holidays. Express shipping strongly recommended for last-minute gifts. Delays possible during peak season despite best efforts.
Article 15. Multiple Items
Orders with multiple products may ship in separate packages. No additional shipping fees for split shipments. Each package tracked independently with separate tracking numbers. All items ship to same address unless specified. Delivery dates may vary per package.
Article 16. Gift Delivery
Gift messages included at no charge during checkout. Prices and invoices omitted from gift shipments. Gift wrapping not currently available. Direct shipping to recipient supported with gift receipt. Multiple addresses require separate orders.
Article 17. APO/FPO/DPO Addresses
Military addresses supported for standard shipping. Delivery times typically 10-21 business days. Express shipping not available to military addresses. Some products restricted from military shipment. Customs forms completed automatically.
Article 18. Backorder Shipping
Backordered items ship when available. Customer notified of backorder status immediately. Option to wait or cancel backorder provided. In-stock items ship separately at no extra charge. Estimated restock dates communicated via email.
Article 19. Pre-Order Shipping
Pre-order items ship on official release date. Estimated ship dates provided at time of purchase. Delays communicated if release date changes. Pre-orders cannot combine with in-stock items. Payment processed when item ships.
Article 20. Bundle Shipping
Product bundles ship together when possible. Separate shipments may occur for availability reasons. No additional shipping charges for bundle splits. All bundle components tracked separately. Complete bundle guaranteed before any billing.
Article 21. Carrier Selection
Dyson uses UPS, FedEx, USPS and regional carriers. Carrier assigned based on destination and service level. Customer cannot specify preferred carrier for standard orders. All shipments fully insured for product value. Premium carriers used for express delivery.
Article 22. Delivery Notifications
Email notifications sent at order placement, processing, shipment and delivery. SMS updates available for express deliveries. Delivery window provided on day of delivery. Update notification preferences in MyDyson account. Real-time tracking through carrier mobile apps.
Article 23. Undeliverable Addresses
Packages returned if address undeliverable by carrier. Customer contacted for corrected address information. Reshipping requires payment of new shipping fee. Original shipping cost non-refundable for wrong address. Refund issued minus return shipping if order cancelled.
Article 24. Demo Store Pickup
Online orders available for pickup at Dyson Demo Stores. Product ready within 2 hours during store hours. Confirmation email sent when order ready for pickup. Valid photo ID required at pickup. Authorized person can collect with written permission.
Article 25. Repair and Replacement Shipping
Warranty repairs include free shipping both ways. Prepaid label provided for return shipment. Repaired or replacement units shipped via express. Turnaround time typically 5-10 business days. Loaner machines available for extended repairs.
Article 26. Installation Service
Professional installation available for air purifiers. Installation includes setup, demo and wifi connection. Technician schedules appointment within 7 days. Installation fees vary by product and location. Old unit removal available for additional fee.
Article 27. Delivery Exceptions
Remote locations may require additional delivery time. Limited access areas need special arrangements. Construction sites require delivery coordination. College campuses may have centralized receiving. Contact support for special delivery situations.
